Review:who killed the electric car

walt: Describe how advancements in technology occur to meet a need or to solve a problem

1: what problems dose the electric car solve?

It solves pollution problems if every body drives one. If pollution is stopped less green house gases will go into the air.

2:who will benefit from the electric car?

The people in areas effected by pollution etc California, Arctic and Antarctic

3: what problems dose the electric car cause?

It can only go 60 km per charge and takes a long time to charge.

The electric car was invented 1996. Thousands of people wanted them in 2000 but G.M. refused to sell them.
G.M. said that the consumers were not buying them. That was proven wrong when the makers of the EV1 did a
test to see who wanted one. over 1 thousand people wanted one! But there were some problems, it could only go 60 km per charge and it took a long time to charge. I think that the EV1 is good because of the things it dose for the environment like helping prevent the ice from melting in the Arctic and Antarctic. It all so will help prevent lunge problems in pollution effected ares etc California. They are more expensive then your normal gas car but they go just as fast and are packed with features. Mechanics like servicing EV1's because they are clean and don't get you dirty. EV1's are a good as any other car just cleaner in many ways for the environment and people. I think that the EV1's should be thought of as a long term solution to global warming.
